New Delhi: Former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi has been targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over 'Hindutva' for some time now. On the other hand, Congress leader Salman Khurshid has compared Hindutva with terrorist organizations like ISIS and Boko Haram. Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has now criticised Hindutva ideology, shaking the tone of the Congress on Wednesday. Though the Supreme Court of India has also described Hindutva as the way of life of the Indian people, the Congress is trying to describe it as a terrorist, now Pakistan has joined the same issue. Qureshi has said that the biggest threat to global security in the region is posed by the Hindutva ideology of the Government of India. Qureshi also said that Pak is following an active foreign policy, which is sensitive to national aspirations and global mobility. In his address to students at the National Defence University (NDU), Qureshi said Pakistan has enough flexibility and experience to meet the challenges posed by the rapidly changing global scenario. Pakistan's Foreign Minister further said that lasting peace in South Asia depends on the resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute. He also said that it is India's responsibility to create a conducive environment for outcomes on the Kashmir issue. He said that after taking illegal action on the Kashmir issue (removal of Section 370) on August 5, 2019, Pakistan has firmly raised the Kashmir issue all over the world and tried to highlight India's human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir.
