Lahore: Big blast in a factory, Kills many

New Delhi: A major accident has been reported in Lahore, Pakistan. There's a blast from the boiler burst there. The incident took place at a factory on Multan Road in Lahore. Several people are estimated to have been killed in the incident. Some videos and pictures of it are going viral on social media. In which the horrific explosion can be seen. Vehicles are plying on the road at the time of the explosion, in the meantime, people start running on the road when they suddenly hear loud noises.

This is not the first such incident in Pakistan. Earlier, on December 22 last year, a boiler also exploded in Karachi. 8 people lost their lives while 15 others were injured when an explosion hit the boiler of an ice factory here. According to local reports, the explosion was so loud that the factory building collapsed. Due to which a large number of people were buried in the debris. They were evacuated by the rescue operation team and sent to the hospital for treatment.

The incident in Karachi had also damaged nearby factories and injured several people working there. The factory administrator had then said that more than 50 people were working in the factory at the time of the incident. The rescue team had rescued the workers trapped there. On the case, police had said that heavy machinery has been used to evacuate people trapped in the debris.
