Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif disqualified from holding office

The Supreme Court of Pakistan in the Panama Papers investigation disqualified the Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from holding office and it has also ordered a case against the prime minister to be referred to the National Accountability Bureau.

He was serving his third term in office, comes roughly a year before his term was to end. The Pakistan Muslim League need tochose the interim  prime minister on the replacement of  Mr. Sharif from the prime minister post.

The 2016 Panama Papers leak revealed that the assets were being managed through offshore companies owned by Sharif’s children.
