In up, the election commission today announced the dates of the panchayat elections. Panchayat elections are going to be held in 4 phases in 75 districts of UP. The first phase of polling is going to be completed on 15th April. Phase 2 is going to be held on 19th April, the 3rd phase on 26th April, and the 4th phase on 29th April. Elections are not being held in Sitapur, 1 in Bahraich, and 9-gram panchayats of Gonda due to non-completion of tenure. The first phase is going to be elected in one district of all the 18 divisions. Counting will take place on 2nd May. With the election dates, there is a code of conduct in Uttar Pradesh. The Supreme Court will hear the reservation case today. CBSE examination is going to be issued from 24th April. In view of the panchayat elections, the high school and intermediate examinations of the Board of Secondary Education have been set to be further averted. When will the nomination process begin: The first phase of the nomination process will commence on April 3 Nominations to be made in 2nd phase from 7th April to 8th April Nominations to be held in the 3rd phase from April 13 to April 15 Nominations to be held in the 4th phase from April 17 to April 18 Polling will be held in 18 districts in the first phase on April 15: Saharanpur, Ghaziabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Hathras, Agra, Kanpur Nagar, Jhansi, Mahoba, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli, Hardoi, Ayodhya, Basti, Santakbiragar Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, and Bhadohi. Polling in these 20 districts in the second phase on April 19: Amroha, Badaun, Etah, Mainpuri, Kannauj, Etawah, Lalitpur, Chitrakoot, Pratapgarh, Lucknow, Lakhimpur Khiri, Sultanpur, Gonda, Maharajganj, Varanasi, Azamgarh, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Gautam Budh Nagar, Bijnor. Polling in these 20 districts in the third phase on April 26: Shamli, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur Dehat, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Fatehpur, Unnao, Amethi, Barabanki, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Pilibhit, Kasganj, Firozabad, Auraiya, Deoria, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Ballia. Polling will be held in 17 districts in the fourth phase on April 29: Farrukhabad, Banda, Kaushambi, Sitapur, Ambedkar Nagar, Bahraich, Basti, Kushinagar, Ghazipur, Sonbhadra, Mau, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Sambalpur, Shahjahanpur, Aligarh, Mathura.
