Panchayati Raj Day: PM Modi said Stop Corona infection from reaching the village

New Delhi: On the worsening situation caused by coronavirus infection in the country, PM Narendra Modi on Saturday said that like last year, the challenge before us is to prevent this infection from reaching villages. On the occasion of Panchayati Raj Day, PM Modi has requested everyone to follow preventive measures and said that every effort has to be made to ensure that its transition does not spread to villages.

Pm Modi distributed e-property cards of his property among more than 4 lakh people under the Ownership (SWAMITWA) scheme through video conferencing. Addressing chief ministers, ministers, and officials of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj in several states, PM Modi said, "The entire country was facing corona a year ago when we met on the occasion of Panchayati Raj Day. Then I requested all of you to contribute to preventing corona from reaching the village.

PM Modi further said that all of you with great skill, not only prevented Corona from reaching the villages but also played a very important role in creating awareness in the village. This year too, the challenge before us is to prevent this infection from reaching the villages.PM Modi said that "Whatever guidelines are issued from time to time, they should be fully followed in the village, we have to ensure this. This time we also have a vaccine safety shield''.
