Paresh Rawal furious over Gujarat being called culturally backward state

Historian Ramachandra Guha remains in the headlines due to his statements. A tweet of Ramchandra has been overshadowed recently. He tweeted about Gujarat quoting the British writer that "Gujarat is culturally backward". Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal did not like this and tweeted, "After distorting History books Gutless Guha opens up a new avenue of Gujarati/Bengali !looks like he is getting a free ride on somebody’s Tail ...! This Chuha Guha is not tired of being the punchline of everyone’s jokes !@Ram_Guha".

 

Paresh Rawal is very active on social media and Paresh gives his opinion on every social and political issue. Paresh answers everyone in his own style and people like his answers too. The actor has also fought elections on behalf of the BJP. Recently, Guha shared the talk written in 1939 by British writer Philip Spret on Twitter. He wrote "Gujarat is economically far ahead but culturally backward. It is the opposite in Bengal. It is financially backward, but culturally far ahead. "After seeing this, Paresh Rawal responded to Ramachandra Guha.

Ramachandra Guha wrote "Statutory warning; when I post quotes by others found in the course of my research, I do so because I find them arresting in some way. I may (or may not) endorse, in part or in whole, what I am quoting. Reserve your praise or your anger for the ghost of the person being quoted."
