'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran' teaser is out ; Glimpse when India tested fusion bombs in 1998

New Delhi [India], Apr. 27 (NT): The teaser of the much-anticipated John Abraham starrer film, 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran', has given a quick look into the secret mission of the Indian government to test a nuclear bomb in 1998.

John Abraham on his official twitter handle wrote, "Turning impossible into possible for the nation was Ashwat and Ambalika's life, not a job. Presenting #ParmanuTeaser

The lead performer of the film, Diana Penty also took to Twitter and wrote, "Nothing about this mission was ordinary. Here's the #ParmanuTeaser. http://bit.ly/NewParmanuTeaser .

Diana's comrade and artist, Ali Fazal admired her and tweeted, "Congratulations on this one Diana.. so nice it looks. Looking forward. @TheJohnAbraham @kriarj."

The one-minute-long teaser video opens with Jawaharlal Nehru's well-known Tryst with Destiny speech. Boman Irani's voiceover takes over from there and reminds us of some magnificent moments of independent India. One of them falls in May 1988, when India tested fusion bombs in Pokhran, Rajasthan.

'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran', is produced by JA Entertainment the film, KriArj Entertainment, Zee Studios and Kyta Productions while it is written by Saiwyn Quadras, Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh, and Abhishek Sharma.The movie will hit the silver screen on May 25.
