Patanjali Halts Sale of THESE 14 Products Amid License Suspension

New Delhi: Patanjali Ayurveda Ltd, led by yoga guru Baba Ramdev, announced on Tuesday that it has ceased the sale of 14 products following the immediate suspension of their manufacturing licenses by Uttarakhand. The company informed the Supreme Court that it has directed 5,606 franchise stores to withdraw these products from shelves.

In compliance with directives, Patanjali has instructed media platforms to remove advertisements for these products across all formats, as conveyed to the apex court.

A bench comprising Justices Hima Kohli and Sandeep Mehta is scheduled to hear the case on July 30.

The Uttarakhand state licensing authority cited "repeated violations" of the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954, in its affidavit explaining the cancellation order issued on April 30. This action resulted in the immediate suspension of manufacturing licenses for 14 products manufactured by Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurveda Ltd and Divya Pharmacy.

Here is the list of products whose licenses were revoked:
