There has been a lot of excitement and anticipation ever since Pawan Kumar and Puneeth Rajkumar had announced that they would be collaborating for a film earlier this year. The team has now announced the title, Dvitva. A word of Sanskrit origin, it has multiple interpretations of the number two, leaving that air of mystery. Pawan reveals that this film will have Preetha Jayaraman onboard as the cinematographer and the team plans on beginning shooting for the film from September. Pawan says, "It is a concept I have been working on for many years. I wanted to tell a story that dwells more into a caracter and his discovery of himself. I first wrote the story and then started looking for a title that describes it the best. I stumbled upon Dvitva. I instantly liked what it means and how it sounds. It has been the identity of the film for me since then." The psychological drama thriller has had a title poster designed by Pawan's constant collaborator and designer Adarsh, who has tried to bring the essence of the film through the artwork. Pawan has his other constant collaborator Poornachandra Tejaswi composing music. "I am looking at doing it like I do any other film and that's how the team came together too. We intend to go about the process without getting affected by the enormity, of course, the scale will be bigger," he reveals. The team is as yet undecided about whether this will be multilingual or just in Kannada.
