Young man walking on the road in Panama City crushed by a car

A pedestrian was seriously injured after an accident on Panama City Beach on Sunday night. Panama City Beach police officers arrived at the crash site at Hutchinson Boulevard and Azela Street around 9:25 am after being reported to have crashed a vehicle and a pedestrian on Sunday.

A 2012 Toyota Scone XB hit a pedestrian in the streets east of Hutchison Boulevard in the area of The Boy. Preliminary investigation has revealed that Joanna Hudson, 45, of Roswell, Georgia, was driving, heading east on Hutchison Boulevard, during which a pedestrian walking on Azela Street came in front of her and the accident occurred. 

The pedestrian is named Joseph Cunningham, is 22 years old and a resident of Columbus, Georgia. Joseph was taken to Bay Medical Sacred Heart for treatment after suffering a serious injury in the accident. Police said there were no injuries to the occupants in the vehicle. Police said that the accident is currently being investigated.
