Amravati: Recently, the big news has come about the son of a late senior leader of YSR Congress Party, Penumatsa Sambasiva Raju. His son Dr Suryanarayan Raju (Suresh Babu) has been elected unopposed for MLC. Under the MLA quota, Suresh Babu had filed nomination on behalf of YSRCP. He has now been elected as Mopidevi Venkataramana Rajya Sabha member. He has resigned from the post of MLA and this seat has become vacant. Suresh Babu had filed a nomination on this seat. It is being told that only one nomination was filed for this place and only Suresh Babu has been elected unopposed. However, the Returning Officer himself has announced his election unopposed. Suresh Babu's full name is Penumatsa Veer Venkata Suryanarayana Raju. He has completed BDS (Dental) degree. He was born on 6 July in the year 1966 and he made headlines by handling the responsibility of MPTC from Moida village. Currently, Suresh Babu is the coordinator of YSR Congress Party from Nellimarla constituency and he has been given the responsibility of YSRCP state secretary in the recent past.
