Similarly, in Chennai, petrol and diesel are selling for Rs 75.69 a litre and Rs 70.01 per litre, no change in rates against yesterday’s prices.in Kolkata, the prices of petrol and diesel are Rs 74.95 a litre and Rs 68.05 per litre respectively. In Gurugram also, petrol price remained stable at Rs 72.79 and diesel price at Rs 65.51. In Noida, petrol, diesel prices remained unchanged at Rs 72.25 and Rs 65.40 respectively. Worth mentioning here is that the prices of petrol by were raised 5-6 paise per litre, while diesel prices remained static across four major cities in the country on Monday. So far this year, petrol prices increased by about Rs 4 per litre, while diesel rates went up by 5 a litre in major cities of the country. International Brent crude oil futures were trading at USD 71.93 per barrel, up 21 cents or 0.3 per cent from their last close.
