The prices of Petrol & diesel continues to rise, know today's price

New Delhi: The price of petrol in the national capital Delhi has again reached above 73 rupees per liter. Oil marketing companies have consistently raised petrol prices for the third day. However, there has been no change in the price of diesel. Earlier, diesel prices had increased for two consecutive days. In the country's capital, Delhi, petrol prices have increased by 45 paise per litre in three days.

On Sunday, Oil companies increased the prices of petrol by 20 paise in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai and by 21 paise per litre in Chennai. According to the website of Indian Oil, petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai have gone up to Rs 73.05, Rs 75.76, Rs 78.72 and Rs 75.92 per litre respectively. However, the diesel prices in the four metros remained steady at Rs 65.91, Rs 68.32, Rs 69.13 and Rs 69.67 per litre respectively.

Petrol and diesel prices in India are reviewed daily. Petroleum companies issue new prices every day at 6 am. Prices of petrol and diesel include excise duty, VAT and diesel commission.
