Petrol, diesel prices increased for 20 consecutive days

New Delhi: The price of diesel has been continuously increasing in the country for the past 20 days. Oil marketing companies (OMCs) have again raised prices today. The thing to see here is that in the country's capital Delhi, the price of diesel has exceeded petrol. For the first time in Indian history, the price of diesel has crossed 80. People are also opposing the hike in prices.

Earlier on Thursday, the price of petrol was increased by 16 paise, after that the price of one-litre petrol in Delhi reached Rs 79.92. The price of diesel increased by 14 paise, due to which the price of diesel in the capital was increased to 80.02 paise per litre. Today, one-litre petrol in Delhi has become costlier by 21 paise and diesel by 17 paise. After this, the price of petrol in Delhi has been increased to Rs 80.13 per litre. The price of diesel has been increased to Rs 80.19 per litre. According to information from the IOCL website, the price of one litre of petrol in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai is 81.82, 86.91 and 83.37 per litre respectively. If we talk about diesel, then the prices in these metros are Rs 75.34, 78.51 and 77.44 respectively.
