Prices of petrol and diesel continuously increasing for last 4 days

New Delhi:  Petrol and diesel prices on Monday for the fourth consecutive day amid good news of vaccine for corona virus. Brent crude has reached $ 45 per barrel. On Friday, the prices of both fuels were increased for the first time after remaining steady for 48 days.

According to Indian Oil, a leading public sector oil marketing company, today the price of diesel has been increased by 17 to 19 paise and petrol by 7 paise per litre in four major metros of the country. Diesel got costlier by 18 paise and petrol by 07 paise per litre in Delhi. According to Indian Oil, a leading oil marketing company, petrol is being sold in Delhi today at Rs 81.53 while diesel at Rs 71.25 per litre.

Petrol is being sold at Rs 88.23 per litre and diesel at Rs 77.73 per litre in Mumbai, the country's financial capital. Petrol in Kolkata rose to Rs 83.10 per litre and diesel to Rs 74.82 per litre. In Tamil Nadu capital Chennai, the price of petrol was Rs 84.53 per litre and diesel was Rs 76.72 per litre.
