New Delhi: There is a spurt in the price of crude oil in the global market. Brent crude is above 51 dollars a barrel. There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in the domestic market today. Government oil companies have not increased oil prices for the 18th consecutive day today. Petrol has become costlier by Rs 2.65 per litre in 15 instalments in Delhi since November 20. While diesel has become costlier by Rs 3.41 per litre. Earlier, the price of petrol has last recorded a decline of 7 to 8 paise per litre on September 22. The price of diesel has been reduced by more than Rs. 3 per litre from 1st September to 2nd October. However, there is no impact on petrol prices. There has been no revision in the price of petrol and diesel in the month of October. While in August, petrol and diesel prices were hiked in the first month of July. The price of petrol and diesel has not changed in Delhi on 25th December today. Petrol prices are steady at Rs 83.71 per litre and diesel at Rs 73.87 per litre yesterday. In Mumbai, petrol price is Rs 90.34 per litre. Diesel is selling at Rs 80.51 per litre. In Kolkata also, there has been no change in the price of petrol and diesel today. Petrol prices are Rs 85.19 per litre and diesel at Rs 77.44 per litre.
