Petrol and diesel prices hiked again, steep hike raises problems

New Delhi: Petrol & diesel price hiked again. Today, once again the prices of both the fuels have gone up. Today, petrol has become costlier by 35 paise per litre and diesel by 28 paise per litre. With this increase, the price of petrol in the capital Delhi has gone up to Rs 98.81 per litre and diesel to Rs 89.18 per litre. While the international market is witnessing a decline in crude oil prices, oil prices in the domestic market are rising steadily. Oil prices have increased since May 4, today after the 32nd.

Complaint against Dharmendra Pradhan for selling petrol and diesel at high prices:- A complaint has been lodged against Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in a court in Muzaffarpur city of Bihar over the hike in petrol and diesel prices. In the said complaint filed against Pradhan in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Muzaffarpur, local resident and complainant Tamanna Hashmi alleged that petrol and diesel are being sold at higher prices as part of a conspiracy to reduce the prices of crude oil in petroleum producing countries.
