Akkineni Nagarjuna is one of the finest actors the film industry has ever seen. Nagarjuna and Samantha Akkineni had worked together in Manam and Raju Gari Gadhi 2 but that was before she married Nag’s son Naga Chaitanya. The father-in-law and daughter-in-law are now sharing the screen space once again in Manmadhudu 2. Directed by actor-turned-director Rahul Ravindran, the film is a sequel to Nagarjuna's 2002 blockbuster, Manmadhudu.
Nagarjuna, the lead star, posted a pic of himself on the sets with his daughter-in-law Samantha on his social media page. This has gone viral among their fans.
Nag wrote: “It was an absolute delight shooting with kodala pilla @Samanthaprabhu2 for #manmadhudu2 so much fun!!!! More pics on the way #Manmadhudu2diaries @23_rahulr @Viacom18movies @AnnapurnaStdios @AnandiArtsOffl.”
And Samantha replied, “I am so so happy that I could play a small part in #manmadhudu2 ... so much positivity surrounding this project and this team .. I am supremely confident that this ones a winner @23_rahulr @Rakulpreet @vennelakishore.”
Apart from her cameo in Manmadhudu 2, Sam is rumored to be teaming up with Vijay Setupathi for Thiagarajan's next project, Thuglak. Sam will also be a part of the official Telugu remake of Vijay's 96 that will also star Sharwanand. Until then, stay tuned for all the updates.
