Lockdown: petition filed in Supreme Court regarding opening these offices

PM Modi has put a lockdown in the country till 3 May. The same, despite not having a government office, started work in some offices of the Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), on which a petition was filed in the Supreme Court expressing objections. For your information, let us tell you that SAIL, NBCC etc. offices were illegally opened by Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), assessing themselves as government departments or offices, on which the petition has raised objections. Let us tell you that the lockdown is going on across the country from March 25, which will be till May 3. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs gave exemption to some sectors in the areas from April 20 where there is not a single case of Kovid-19.

In the midst of the virus outbreak, health related services from the government, farming related work with MNREGA workers were allowed with conditions. Apart from this, activities related to oil and gas sector were also allowed. Permission was granted to open postal service and post office and permission was also given to gaushalas and animal shelter homes. According to this, along with construction works, highway dhabas, truck repair shops, government work related call centers will be opened. With this, electricians, IT repairers, pulambars, motor mechanics, carpenters were allowed to work.
