New Delhi: Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said India and Sweden should work together for a sustainable and strong partnership. Addressing the CEO Forum of India-Sweden Strategic Business Partnership, the Railway Minister said that the year 2020 is a challenging year, but the crisis has to be converted into an opportunity. "We want Sweden to be our partner in our efforts to expand the Indian economy, bring it to a higher level of prosperity and prepare India for the international commitment of the modern world of the 21st century," he added. "I am confident that the CEO Forum and the India-Sweden Strategic Business Partnership will help enhance this friendship at all levels and make Sweden an important part of India's progressive economy. '' The Railway Minister further said that India is the world's largest business opportunity with its 1.35 billion population. He said, "We have a very large and growing middle class that aspires to achieve a better standard of living. I am confident that Swedish companies would love to work in India and discover better opportunities. We are confident that our focus on technology will help us to change the direction of India's priorities and enable Sweden to play an important role in this, as it is our natural partner in the path of innovation and advancement.
