Indore: Only 2,000 donate plasma, while more than 80,000 people recovered from corona

Indore: The government is making constant efforts to control corona infection in Madhya Pradesh. It is seen that the health system has weakened and after oxygen, Remdesivir injection, the demand for plasma is also increasing rapidly. Meanwhile, according to reports, only 2,000 of the people who recovered from corona have donated plasma. In view of the growing demand for plasma, a new campaign for plasma donation is being launched in the city in collaboration with various departments.

It is being ensured that the treatment of corona victims is helped quickly due to this matter. So far more than 80,000 people in the city have recovered from corona, but only a few people in hospitals are donating plasma. According to the information received, 350 units of plasma donation have been done so far from the blood call center.

In view of the matter, Indore Municipal Commissioner Pratibha Pal informed that "green corridor will be constructed for plasma donation along with providing a safe environment to the donor. As part of the drive to promote plasma donation, the team will go to the homes of donation aspirants and conduct antibody tests so that they do not have to go around hospitals and said that they are aware of the recovering people who will be contacted and motivated.''
