NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the new premises of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry called ‘Vanijya Bhawan’ on Thursday at 10:30 am. The Vanijya Bhawan, which was built next to the India Gate, is a smart structure that includes sustainable architectural principles with a particular emphasis on energy conservation. The two Departments under the Ministry, i.e-the Department of Commerce and the Department for the Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) , will serve as an integrated and contemporary office complex. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has also announced that the PM would launch a new website called National Import-Export Record for Yearly Analysis of Trade (NIRYAT). The objective of NIRYAT is to provide stakeholders with one-stop platform to get all the information they require regarding India's international commerce.
