New Delhi: India Prime Minister Narendra Modi today, March 14, held a meeting with his top ministers in Parliament. Pralhad Joshi, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, Minister of Agriculture, Narendra Singh Tomar, Minister of Law and Justice, Kiren Rijiju, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, and Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari were among the ministers present in the Assembly. After a month-long vacation, the second leg of Parliament's Budget session started on Monday. The Opposition caused a commotion during two adjournments of Parliament as Speaker Piyush Goyal demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi for his remarks made in London. The current budget session's second phase will go on till April 6. Prior to the second half of the Budget session, Modi met with his top ministers on Monday to plan the government's course of action. In order to plan the approach, Congress MPs met earlier on Monday at the Parliamentary Party (CPP) office of the party, presided over by party president Mallikarjun Kharge. Congress Ex-president Sonia Gandhi, Kharge and West Bengal Congress president Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury were present in the meeting. In attendance during the meeting were Mallikarjun Kharge , Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, the head of the West Bengal Congress, and former Congresswoman Sonia Gandhi. Members of the Congress' Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha attended the Congress Parliamentary Party meeting to deliberate the budget session's strategy.
