PM Kisan Scheme: Government to Release PM Kisan 8th Installment on 14 May

Amid the covid crisis, farmers to cheer as they are struggling with finance! The Central Government will start disbursing Rs 2000 to farmers' accounts from 14th May 2021 (Friday). PM Modi will release the 8th installment of farmers under PM Kisan Yojana this Friday. Prime Minister will also interact with farmers across the nation at 11 am, according to Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar.

]Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, income support of Rs 6000 per year is provided to the farmer families in three equal installments of Rs 2000 each every four months.

To recall, under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the Centre provides Rs 6,000 per year to small and marginal farmers. The financial assistance to farmers comes in three installments of Rs 2000 each. The 1st installment of Rs 2000 comes from April to July, the 2nd installment comes between August and November and the 3rd installment from December to March.

On May 14, PM will speak to farmers on May 14 at 11 am.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address can be seen on pmindiawebcast.nic.in. According to the Union Ministry of Agriculture, the 8th installment of PM Kisan (PM Kisan 8th installment) will be credited to the farmers' account.

As per earlier reports, the state governments have signed the RFT (Request For Transfer). The Central Government has also issued FTO (Fund Transfer Order). Also, the status of RFT Signed by State for 8th Installment is seen in the farmers' account. You can check this by logging into your account at PMkisan.gov.in.

How to check PM Kisan payment status: Visit the official website - https://pmkisan.gov.in/.  Look for ?Farmer?s Corner Section' at the homepage.  Select the option - Beneficiary Status. Here, the farmer can check his or her application status. It will consist of farmer?s name and the amount sent to his account. Now enter either your Aadhar Number / Account Number/ Mobile Number.  And click ?Get data??  The status will appear on the screen
