PM Modi addresses inaugural session of the 82nd All India Presiding Officers' Meet

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the opening session of the 82nd All India Presiding Officers' Conference today (November 17)  via video conference. The event was also attended by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, and Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh.

The Prime Minister, speaking at the ceremony, said, "In India, democracy is more than a system. India's nature and natural tendency is to be democratic. In the future years, we must propel the country to new heights. Only 'Sabka Prayas' (everyone's effort) will bring these resolutions to fruition. When we talk about 'Sabka Prayas' in India's democracy and federal system, the states play a crucial role." Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Wednesday that democracy is not merely a structure, but a natural tendency in India, highlighting the crucial role of states in the country's federal system.

PM Modi stressed that the nation had reached unprecedented heights as a result of everyone's efforts. "Whether it is the resolution of long-standing conflicts in the Northeast or the completion of major development projects that have been stalled for decades, the nation has completed countless initiatives of this nature in the previous few years. The nation's struggle against COVID is the best example "he stated

The nation fought this major struggle in unison by uniting all of the states, which is historic in and of itself. India has reached a milestone of 110 crore vaccination shots today. Something that once appeared inconceivable is now becoming a reality, the prime minister said.
