NEW DELHI: PM Modi and UK PM Starmer Aim for Swift India-UK Free Trade Agreement

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a conversation with the newly elected British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Both leaders expressed their commitment to finalizing a mutually beneficial India-UK free trade agreement as soon as possible.

During the call, PM Modi congratulated Starmer on his election victory and his Labour Party's impressive performance. They discussed the longstanding relationship between India and the UK, emphasizing their dedication to enhancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

PM Modi also invited PM Starmer to visit India soon, with both leaders agreeing to maintain regular communication.
