PM Modi at Vikas Delhi Sankalp Rally: ‘Time to Remove AAP-da from Delhi’

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Vikas Delhi Sankalp Rally in Dwarka on Friday, ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections. He assured that the BJP would do everything possible to bring real development to the capital. Taking a dig at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), he called them ‘AAP-da’ (disaster) and accused them of engaging in unnecessary conflicts instead of governing effectively. He stressed that Delhi needs a government that can maintain stability and progress.

Criticizing AAP further, PM Modi alleged that the party was using money from Delhi to fund its political ambitions in other states. He went on to say:- The people of Delhi have made up their minds to take away the AAP-da government. This time, certainly, BJP must win with a strong majority. Whenever I come to Dwarka, I naturally think of the legendary city of Lord Krishna. You can see BJP’s vision for a modern Delhi right here in Dwarka. The central government built Yasobhoomi here, creating jobs for thousands, people's business has increased.

 

 

He also highlighted upcoming projects, saying, "This entire area is set to become a smart city. The BJP-led central government is developing Bharat Vandana Park here, which will serve as a model for the rest of the country. The capital of a developed India should reflect its progress, and similar growth should happen across all of Delhi."
