India's PM Narendra Modi on Sunday distributed property cards (property leaflets) to people under the 'Ownership Scheme'. PM Modi has launched property card distribution through video conferencing. Since then, the state governments have distributed the original cards to the people. According to the information received, after which PM Modi spoke to the card beneficiaries through the video, it was also revealed that the Prime Minister asked him what benefits he was going to get from getting property cards and getting ownership rights. Also, what problems they had before.

What is the ownership plan?: The Central Government Owned Plan was launched on the day of National Panchayati Day (April 24, 2020). The scheme has been implemented under the Ministry of Panchayati Raj. Under which land is demarcated through drones. Drones create a digital map of every property within the boundaries of the villages.

The scheme aims to create a record of ownership of property of people in rural areas. People should be given a court card for their home and land. This is a kind of document of their ownership.

It will keep a record of every household and land in the village. These cards will be made by the state governments.

People can use it in other activities, apart from borrowing from banks.

Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Tomar was also present at the video conference.

Narendra Tomar said that the cards will be distributed to more than 1.25 lakh people in 763 villages in six states in the pilot phase of the scheme. These states include Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Whose survey work has been completed.

What PM Modi said: The PM then congratulated the one lakh people who have received the ownership letter of their homes. "Today you have a right, a legal document that your home is yours, you will remain," he said. "The scheme is going to bring about a historic change in the villages of our country," PM Modi also mentioned the birth date of Nanaji Deshmukh and Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan. "Raising the voice of the village and the poor has been a shared resolve of the lives of JP and Nanaji. I am confident that the ownership scheme will also be a great means of ending many disputes in our villages."

"At the same time, when the property is recorded, loans are easily available from the bank, employment-self-employment avenues are created. When there is a record of property, new avenues for investment are opened," he said, adding that there are so many youths in the village who want to do something on their own. But even at home, they had to face difficulties in getting loans from the bank in the name of their home. Banks have been ensured to get loans easily by displaying property cards made under the ownership scheme. Pm Modi said that the efforts that we have been making to strengthen the Panchayati Raj system for the past six years will also strengthen the ownership plan.
