New Delhi:: On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged MPs to to make maximum use of monsoon session of Parliament to engage in discussions concerning public welfare, expressing his confidence in their ability to generate favorable outcomes through intense deliberations. "As we gather in the holy month of Sawan within this temple of democracy... I am assured that together, all MPs will wholeheartedly contribute to the welfare of our people and fulfill their responsibilities," he stated in his address before the commencement of the monsoon session. "I firmly believe that by collectively harnessing the potential of this session in the interest of the public, we can achieve remarkable results. Meaningful discussions play a pivotal role; the more intense and insightful the deliberations, the more profound impact they have on the public welfare," he emphasized. PM Modi also highlighted the significance of several bills, including the Personal Data Protection Bill. On Wednesday, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi announced that the government has included 31 bills on the agenda. The monsoon session is scheduled to continue until August 11.
