PM Modi has invited Chief Ministers of 3 Drought-Hit States

Saturday, to discuss over water crises and drought water scarcity situations in three states, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka today.

Sources said, The Chief Ministers of these three states -- Akhilesh Yadav, Devendra Fadnavis and S Siddaramaiah have been invited by the Prime Minister for separate meetings.

At these meetings, PM Modi will take stock of the situation with regard to drought and water-scarcity that these states are facing, they said. Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka are worst hit by the twin problems.
