PM Modi Highlights Savings, Development in Budget Session 2025

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Lok Sabha during the Budget session, defending his government's efforts on financial savings and development.

While addressing the parliament, PM Modi hit back at the opposition, saying that his government has saved crores of rupees to benefit the people and build the nation, rather than spending it on luxuries like the SHEESHMAHAL. He criticized the past, saying that before his tenure, allegations were filled with corruption and scams. On the contrary, his government has saved money that was re-directed for public welfare.

 

 

PM Modi also mentioned that his government had removed 10.00 crore fake beneficiaries who were taking advantage of government schemes. By identifying the real beneficiaries, they ensured that help reached those who truly needed it.

Modi also emphasized that his government's  approach has always been  focuseed on both savings and development, stressing that public money should serve the public. During his tenure, his government has deposited 40.00 lakh crore rupees into the public’s accounts, which he said reflects a positive shift in how the country's development.
