India-Nordic Summit 2018: Glimpse of PM Modi’s 10 engagements in 10 hours

 

PM Narendra Modi has kicked off a tri-nation visit to Sweden, United Kingdom & Germany from 17-20 April. Modi’s visit will include a rich bilateral & multilateral content in the form of meetings with other leaders and participation at two multilateral meetings, India-Nordic and Commonwealth Summits.

 Today PM Narendra Modi met with Swedish PM Stefan Löfven. The two leaders had a productive exchange of views on bilateral and regional issues. The relationship between both countries has grown in intensity over the years and has a huge potential.

PM Modi had a Royal start to the day as he called on His Majesty the King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. Both Leaders exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation across several sectors.

PM Modi had 10 engagements in 10 hours in Stockholm where he met King of Sweden to have the bilateral meeting with Swedish PM and 4 Nordic countries' leaders for the roundtable discussion with Swedish CEOs, Leader of Opposition in India-Nordic Summit and Community event.

In a special gesture exuding warmth and hospitality, PM Narendra Modi and Swedish PM were travelled together in the same vehicle from the airport to the Hotel.

PM Narendra Modi arrived in Stockholm on a first bilateral visit scripting history as an Indian PM in 30 years received a warm and personal welcome by Swedish PM to participate in the first ever India-Nordic Summit.
