PM Modi in Mobile Congress says, 'Telecom sector played important role during period of Corona'

New Delhi: PM Modi addressed the India Mobile Congress program on Tuesday. PM Modi said in his address that the telecom sector has played an important role in the development of India, today sector veterans are present in this program. PM Modi said that the sector is moving fast, but there is still a long distance to be achieved.

PM Modi said that it was difficult to estimate the impact of mobiles in the world and country ten years ago. PM Modi said that now we should pay attention to how changes can be made in the lives of common people through it in farmers, health sector, education and other fields. In his address, PM Modi said that in the Corona period, the telecom sector played an important role, people could connect with their families, doctors could help patients and the government could reach people. The new policy of the Government of India will advance the telecom sector and help reach the common people.

He said that today, crores of people in the country have phones, everyone has their own digital identity. It has become very easy for the government to provide assistance directly to the common people. Today the number of digitally active people has increased in rural areas of the country. PM Modi said that cashless transactions are happening in billions today, now we have to make our country the global hub of the telecom sector.
