New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi today launched the 'Iconic Week' in a program organized by the Ministry of Finance and Corporate Affairs. Along with this, PM Modi also released new coins of 1, 2, 5, 10 and 20 rupees in this program. Jan Samarth Portal has also been launched in this program organized under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Addressing the program, PM Modi said that a large part of the world expects India to solve the problems. If India is determined to do something together, then it becomes a hope for the whole world. He said that this is being possible because we have believed in the wisdom of an ordinary Indian in the last eight years. We encouraged the public to be intelligent participants in development. PM Modi has further said that along with reforms, we have focused on simplification. In place of the web of many taxes of the center and the state, just one tax GST was implemented. He said that the country is seeing its result. It has become common practice for GST collection to cross one lakh crore rupees per month. PM Modi further said that in the reforms made by the country in the last eight years, special care has been taken that youth should get full opportunity to show their potential.
