PM Modi lays foundation stone of 13 projects worth over Rs. 2,100 crore in Rajasthan

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jaipur on Saturday .Here he laid the foundation of 13 urban infrastructure projects worth over Rs. 2,100 crore.

Today’s Prime Minister Visit in Rajasthan capital was as an attempt to woo voters ahead of the assembly polls in the state later this year.

Following his visit, PM Modi also interacted with beneficiaries of seven central government and five state government's flagship schemes.

These schemes include Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana and others.

It is noted that the presentation has been moderated by the current Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.

 Here are the important projects for which PM Modi laid the foundation

-The Integrated Infrastructure package for the walled city of Udaipur,

-Elevated Road Project for Ajmer,

-Water Supply and Sewerage projects in various cities

-Upgradation of STPs in Dholpur, Nagaur, Alwar, and Jodhpur.

Prime Minister Modi also addressed a gathering in Jaipur. In his address PM Modi said

Worth mention here Over 2 lakh beneficiaries have been invited from all 33 districts of the state to take part in this programme, as news agency IANS reported.

It should be noted that The Rajasthan government spent over Rs. 7 crore to ferry beneficiaries of welfare schemes to the rally, according to an official statement.

The state government had arranged 5,579 buses to bring people to the Amrudon Ka Bagh stadium where the PM is planned to address the public meeting, officials said.
