PM Modi praises scientists for their contribution to the battle against corona on National technology day

New Delhi: On the occasion of National Technology Day (National Technology Day 2021), PM Narendra Modi praised the scientists of the country and thanked them for their cooperation in the fight against corona. Speaking on the occasion, PM Modi also recalled the 1998 Pokhran tests in which Indian scientists showcased their skills.

 

 

In two of his tweets, PM Modi wrote, "On National Technology Day, we salute the hard work of our scientists and their enthusiasm for technology. Today, we proudly recall the 1998 pokhran test in which Scientists from India demonstrated their technology skills". The impact of the ongoing war against the corona virus is now visible. The latest data has indicated some relief from corona infection.

For the first time since March 11, more patients have recovered from new cases. During the last 24 hours, 3,29,942 new cases have been reported, while 3,56,082 patients have recovered. A day earlier also, less than four lakh new cases were reported. 3,576 people have died during this period. Less than 4,000 deaths have been recorded for the third consecutive day. With this, the total number of infected has reached 2,26,62,575. Out of these, 1,90,27,304 patients have recovered and 2,49,992 people have lost their lives.
