PM Modi reaches Raipur to dedicate projects

RAIPUR: Arriving in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a momentous journey. Amidst a vibrant atmosphere, he commenced the laying of foundation stones for various national highway projects, signifying a significant leap forward. Welcoming PM Modi at the airport were Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, extending a warm embrace to mark the occasion.

In an impressive display of progress, PM Modi will inaugurate three groundbreaking National Highway projects for the Chhattisgarh section of the illustrious 6-lane greenfield Raipur-Visakhapatnam corridor. Additionally, he will dedicate to the nation the momentous expansion of the 103-kilometer Raipur-Khariar Road Rail Line. This colossal endeavor, valued at Rs 750 crore, stands as a testament to the government's commitment to enhancing connectivity. Moreover, the bottling plant of Indian Oil Corporation, a marvel costing over Rs 130 crore, shall also be unveiled, with a staggering capacity of 60,000 metric tonnes per annum, solidifying India's energy prowess.

Amidst the fervor of his visit to Raipur, Modi will bestow 75 lakh cards upon the fortunate beneficiaries under the esteemed Ayushman Bharat scheme. This noble act exemplifies the government's dedication to providing healthcare for all. Following this, the journey continues to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, where the Prime Minister will grace the closing ceremony of the momentous centenary celebrations of Gita Press Gorakhpur.

In a grand spectacle, the event will culminate with the triumphant commencement of the iconic Vande Bharat trains at Gorakhpur railway station. Departing from Gorakhpur, PM Modi will journey to Varanasi, where he will inaugurate numerous projects of immense importance, leaving an indelible mark on the city's landscape.

A day prior, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath meticulously inspected the venues of forthcoming programs and reviewed the meticulous preparations in anticipation of Prime Minister Modi's imminent visit. Accompanied by enthusiasm, CM Adityanath explored the revered Gita Press and the resplendent Gorakhpur railway station, which serve as the focal points for the Prime Minister's engagements. Familiarizing himself with the minute details, the Chief Minister graciously interacted with the railway officials and administration, ensuring a seamless experience for all.

With a fervent commitment to development, Prime Minister Modi embarks on a voyage across four states viz, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Rajasthan, between July 7 and 8. This monumental undertaking encompasses the laying of foundations and the dedication of multiple projects worth a staggering Rs 50,000 crores, invigorating the lives of countless citizens across the nation.
