PM Modi Showcases NaMo App Features to Bill Gates During Meeting

New Delhi: Billionaire and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates recently met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to India earlier this month. The meeting encompassed discussions on various topics including technological advancements, healthcare, education, agriculture, women empowerment, and the digital payment revolution in India facilitated by Artificial Intelligence (AI). Highlights of their conversation were shared by news agency ANI on its X handle.

In the shared video footage, PM Modi is observed demonstrating the unique features of the NaMo app to Bill Gates. PM Modi prompted Gates to take a selfie using the NaMo app, and the tech giant was intrigued by the app's prompt response.

During his visit, Bill Gates engaged with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in discussions regarding the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for public welfare, promoting women-led development, and fostering innovation in agriculture and healthcare. It is noteworthy that the full video of their meeting is scheduled to be released tomorrow, March 29.

Following the meeting, Gates took to social media platform X to express his sentiments, stating, "It is always inspiring to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and there was a lot to discuss. We have discussed the use of AI for public good, women-led development, innovations in agriculture, health, and climate adaptation, and discussed how the world can learn from India."

In response, PM Modi shared on X, "Truly a wonderful meeting! It's always a pleasure to discuss areas that will improve our planet and empower millions of people around the world."
