New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Friday appealed to the public to share their inputs for his Independence Day speech on August 15, saying his views will echo from the ramparts of the Red Fort. In a tweet, the PM told the people of India that he can send his suggestions on the people's forum MyGov. According to the MyGov portal, the PM, through his speech on Independence Day, presents the functions and policies of the Government to the citizens. Earlier, on the 79th edition of the monthly radio program 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Narendra Modi said that his government has launched an initiative to sing the national anthem to more and more citizens on the 75th Independence Day and has also urged the people to join the initiative. It is a privilege for us that this year the country is entering its 75th year of independence, he said in the program. The Prime Minister said that it is the endeavour of the Ministry of Culture to make more and more Indians sing the National Anthem together on the 75th Independence Day.
