PM Modi to address the 'Combined Commanders Conference'

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in Dehradun will address the Combined Commanders Conference (CCC) which will be hosted at the Indian Military Academy (IMA). A day long event will be attended by the Army Commanders and by the Air Force and the Navy members.

At the Conference, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will also be present. On December 15, 2015 the last confernce was held. It is expected that the confernce will focus on the surgical strikes across the Line of control, terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and on the security situation.

The Election Commission of India has asked the Defence Ministry to ensure that the PM Narendra Modi official visit shall not be combined with any public meeting.
