New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of 81 projects worth more than Rs 60,000 crore in Lucknow today. The program will start from 11:30 in the morning at the Indira Gandhi Foundation of Lucknow. During this time PM Modi will be present along with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and others. PM Modi is on a two-day tour of Lucknow. Yesterday he laid the foundation for 99 projects of Rs 3897 crores on the occasion of the third anniversary of the three major plans of the Central Government - the Amrit scheme, the Prime Minister Housing Scheme (Urban) and the Smart City Project, and said that looking at changes in the life of the common people, it is a satisfying experience. He also met the beneficiaries of the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme. In this meeting, he targeted Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav. PM Modi said, 'I am proud that I am the son of a poor mother. Poverty has given me honesty and courage, poverty has taught me how to live a life. Nowadays I am being accused but I am proud to say that I am a participant of the sufferings of the poor in the country, the sufferings of every citizen of the country." The Prime Minister said, "Lucknow city has been working very well to give a new direction to the urban life to the country. Our inspiration and the country's former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, has long been in a parliamentary area. Atal Ji used to say that without old you will not embark on a new one. He said this in the context of old and new Lucknow." PM Modi said, "Some of the sisters and daughters were given keys of their own house. The brightness that was seen on their face when he got the keys, the confidence of the bright future was reflected in their eyes, he is a great inspiration for all of us. Today, going ahead with a speed of about 7.5%, India is going to move forward at a faster pace in the coming time."
