PM Modi to Launch Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit in Jaipur Today

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially open the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024 today at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) in Rajasthan. The event, which is set to begin at 10:30 AM, carries the theme "Replete, Responsible, Ready" and aims to showcase Rajasthan’s vast potential as a business and investment hub.

The summit, running from December 9 to 11, will also feature the Rajasthan Global Business Expo. It is designed to highlight the state’s commitment to being a progressive and sustainable destination for global investments.

With over 5,000 participants expected, the summit will bring together industry leaders, investors, and international dignitaries. Notable attendees include influential figures like Gautam Adani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anil Agarwal, Anand Mahindra, Sanjiv Puri, and Ajay S Shriram.

Representatives from 32 countries, including Japan, Switzerland, Singapore, Denmark, and South Korea, will also participate, with 17 nations serving as partner countries for the event.

Prime Minister Modi will deliver the keynote address at the opening session, which will follow a welcome speech by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

The event will feature 12 regional thematic sessions covering vital topics such as water security, sustainable mining, inclusive tourism, agri-business innovation, sustainable finance, and women-led startups. Additionally, eight country-specific sessions will focus on enhancing international cooperation and forging stronger ties with Rajasthan.

The summit will also offer roundtable discussions and networking opportunities for industry leaders and policymakers, allowing them to explore the vast investment possibilities that Rajasthan has to offer.

The Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit aims to establish the state as a prime destination for industrial growth and innovation, aligning with the Union government's vision of a developed India and contributing to the nation's growth journey.
