Honoring the Legacy of Sahibzadas Veer Bal Diwas, celebrated annually on December 26, is a tribute to the unparalleled courage and sacrifice of the Sahibzadas, the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru. This day commemorates the martyrdom of Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh, the youngest Sahibzadas, who were martyred on December 26, 1705, for refusing to convert to Islam. At the tender ages of six and nine, they were bricked alive by Mughal commander Wazir Khan, leaving an indelible mark on India's history. This observance, which holds profound significance in Sikh history, honors the Sahibzadas' unwavering faith and bravery. For the first time in India's history, a national day has been dedicated to acknowledging the sacrifices of children, making Veer Bal Diwas a poignant reminder of the courage required to uphold justice and principles.
