PM Modi to Visit Russia and Austria from July 8-10, What's on Agenda?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Russia and Austria from July 8 to 10, according to an official announcement from the foreign ministry on Thursday.

On July 8-9, PM Modi will be in Moscow at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin to attend the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit. During this visit, the leaders will review the extensive relationship between India and Russia and discuss various regional and global issues of mutual interest.

Following his visit to Russia, PM Modi will embark to Austria on July 9-10. This will mark the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Austria in 41 years. In Austria, PM Modi will meet with President Alexander Van der Bellen and hold talks with Chancellor Karl Nehammer. The Prime Minister and Chancellor will also address business leaders from both countries.

Additionally, PM Modi will engage with members of the Indian Diaspora in both Moscow and Vienna, as a special agenda. Moreover, during his visit to Austria, Prime Minister Modi will meet with the President of the Republic of Austria, His Excellency Mr. Alexander Van der Bellen, to discuss bilateral relations and mutual interests. He will also engage in talks with the Chancellor of Austria, His Excellency Mr. Karl Nehammer, focusing on enhancing cooperation in various sectors. The Prime Minister and the Chancellor will jointly address business leaders from both India and Austria, aiming to foster economic ties and encourage new business collaborations between the two nations. This engagement highlights the commitment of both countries to strengthening their economic partnership and exploring new avenues for trade and investment.

 

This diplomatic tour highlights India's commitment to strengthening international relations and fostering economic and cultural ties with key global partners. By engaging in high-level talks and addressing business leaders, PM Modi aims to enhance cooperation and mutual interests between India, Russia, and Austria.
