The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Sri Lanka and will be attending the International Vesak Day celebrations. With Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, he will interact with Buddhist spiritual leaders, scholars and theologians. On the occasion of International VesakDay, he will address at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BIMCH). At Norwood Grounds, he will address the Indian origin Tamil community. He will also inaugurate the 15-bed Dickoya Hospital.He will then meet representatives of the Ceylon Workers' Congress (TBC).
