There's corona and there's duty, MPs chose duty: PM Modi

New Delhi: The monsoon session of Parliament has begun from Monday amid the outbreak of corona pandemic in the country. PM Narendra Modi has addressed the media before the start of the session. PM Modi said that "There is a pandemic on-going but we have some duties to perform,. All the MPs chose the path of duty". He urged all MPs to convey a message in one voice on the issue of the ongoing border dispute between India and China that the country stands firm with the troops on the border.

PM Modi said, "The Parliament session is beginning at a specific time. Corona is also there and duty is all vital. The MPs chose the path of duty. I congratulate them and express my gratitude. This time the Lok Sabha will take up the proceedings at different moments in a day. The proceedings of Parliament will continue on Saturday-Sunday also. All the MPs have accepted it". 

PM Modi said, "Until the vaccine, if found, there will be no laxity. We want the vaccine to be ready from any corner of the world at the earliest, whenever our scientists will succeed, we will able to get everyone out of this trouble. I am confident that all the members will collectively give a message that the entire country stands with the soldiers who are guarding the motherland on the border. The soldiers are stuck on the inaccessible hills to protect the country".
