PM Narendra Modi arrives in Varanasi to inaugurate various projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Varanasi on a two-day tour on Friday. Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Ram Naik welcomed PM Modi at Babatpur airport. The Prime Minister inaugurated the Deendayal Handicraft Complex Trade Center at a cost of Rs 305 crore in Lalkhpur.

As a parliamentarian, Modi had laid the foundation of this trade centre on November 7, 2014. From this trade centre built in 43,445 square meters, about 60 thousand weavers families benefiting from Ransi and its surrounding districts will be benefited. Union Minister Smriti Irani was also present on this occasion. 

Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also flag off the Weekly Mahama Express that runs between Varanasi and Vadodara. This train will leave from Varanasi at 6.10 a.m. every Friday morning. In his two-day visit, the PM will inaugurate various projects.

Capacities of Kajakpura sub-station and six sub-centres: 16.20 crores  Garthauli sub-station: 7 crores  the front Ghat bridge: 923.95-meter long bridge constructed at a cost of more than 90 crores on river Ganga.  Balua Ghat Bridge: bridge at river Ganga at a cost of 87.47 lakh.  Utkarsh Bank Headquarters  Malaviya Avx Center, BHU: 15 crores  D-centralized West-to-Energy, Paharia, STP: 2 crores  Durgakund beautification: 2.58 crores  Laxmikund beautification: 1.80 crores  Community health centre maternity wing: 2.77 million  barracks building for 80 person Cholapur: 12.5 million  Buddha Theme park, Sarnath: 25.6 million  Sarngnath pond Sunderyik Reservation: 2.92 million Gurudham Mandir: 0.82 crores  Markandeya Mahadev Temple and Ganga Ghat, development of Cathy: 3.03 crores  Making beautiful of state livestock and agriculture sector: Aarajlines cost 3.65 crores
