PM Modi gives mantra of 'Self Three' theory to students of IIT Kharagpur

New Delhi: The 66th annual convocation of IIT Kharagpur has been organized. In this ceremony, PM Narendra Modi while addressing through video conferencing has told the students that the need and aspiration of 21st century India has changed and now IIT is to be taken as the indigenous Institute of Technology at the next level.

Addressing the 66th annual convocation ceremony of IIT Kharagpur, PM Modi said that on this day, the students receiving degrees will not only start a new life but to change the lives of millions of people of this country. He said that self-awareness, confidence and selflessness will be the key to success in life. There is no shortcut in the path of science, technology and innovation. Even if no one is successful, they will learn something new because failure is the basis of success.

PM Modi further said, "Being an engineer, a capability develops in you and that is the ability to move things from patterns to patents. That is, in a way you have the vision to see the subjects in more detail. On the path you are now moving forward, there will surely be many questions in front of you. This path is right, wrong, the damage will not be done, the time will not be wasted? Many such questions will come. The answer to that is Self Three means Self Hours, Self Confidence and Selfness. You recognize your potential and move forward, move ahead with full confidence, move selflessly.
