Shimla: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a big gift to Himachal Pradesh at the festival of Dussehra today. PM Modi today inaugurated Bilaspur AIIMS built at a cost of over Rs 1,470 crore. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Union Minister Anurag Thakur and BJP National President JP Nadda were also present on the occasion. During his Himachal visit, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 3,650 crore with AIIMS built at a cost of Rs 1,470 crore. In this, national highways worth Rs 1,690 crore, a medical device park in Nalagarh and a hydro-engineering college in Bandla will be inaugurated. PM Modi also participated in the Dussehra Fair to be held in Kullu during his Himachal visit. AIIMS Hospital in Bilaspur has been built under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). The hospital, with a capacity of 750 beds, also includes 64 ICU beds. Built at a cost of Rs 1,470 crore, the hospital will have dialysis facilities with round-the-clock emergency and modern diagnostic machines. The hospital is spread over 247 acres.
