PM Modi inaugurates Supreme Court building of Mauritius

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the new building of Mauritius Supreme Court along with Mauritius PM PK Jagannath. The new building of the top court in Mauritius has been built with the cooperation of India. PM Modi and PM Jagannath were present in the virtual inauguration program of the building.

On the inauguration of the building, PM Modi said that today we are celebrating the friendship between the two countries in a new way. The top court building in Port Louis is a reflection of our cooperation and shared values. PM Modi said, "I wish the Government and people of Mauritius good luck in managing the global epidemic like Corona epidemic. I am happy that India also contributed its full time in the supply of medicine."

PM Modi further said, "We not only share the waters of the Indian Ocean with Mauritius, but both countries have a common heritage of culture and language. Our friendship takes power from the past and looks towards the future. Indians are proud of the achievements of the people of Mauritius. Mauritius has built its success through hard work and innovation. The spirit of Mauritius is inspiring and our partnership will be stronger in the coming years."
